This term in music, we
were focusing in on space music because of Tim Peake's space mission. We were
working on our composition in groups of around 3-6. To get the idea of what
space music sounds like, we listened to some pieces that people made over 90 years
ago! After that, we set of in our groups and gathered the instruments
subsequently making our graphic scores.
Every
group had a piano/keyboard and in my group, we had a piano, which Kevin played.
I played the African drum along with Jack; Aaron played the 'hi hats' and
tinkling bells ; Ryan R played the drums and Ryan S played the glockenspiel.
And after we did that, everyone recorded their composition to show the rest of
the class.
When we had
shown the class, we had a go on garage band; a
game with virtual instruments of your
choice!
