Fencing

While half of the class did a science investigation, the others went to King Edwards to have a fencing lesson. First we learnt about  all three of the foils and if anyone from England would be using them in the Olympics.

Our coach then asked us to put on protective padding and a face helmet. Then we collected our foils and began.We learnt how to be in an  on guard position and how to move efficiently.

We got into groups and using the on guard position we practiced our fighting techniques against them . To help us defend our selfs we brainstormed the ideas we had to defend us .

Last part was the best we got to  fight against many people using our skills we learnt!

It was amazing! We all had a great time.

Would you want to be there well the coach does a club!
