The vikings (theatre group)

On  Wednesday 24th February 2016 a theatre group called Groundings paid year 5 a visit to teach the students all about Vikings.
To start off, Jim & Suze (the staff of Groundlings ) performed to us so we could learn a bit more about Vikings. However, even though we were learning about these people, there was a bit of comedy inside the play as well. They made all of the children laugh their heads off.
After the play Jim & Suze told us about the levels of energy used in the play and what they were.

This includes: sleeping lions, Bambi on ice, where are my keys, normal, bus is leaving in five minutes and mum and dad are coming. Sleeping lions is a level of energy where they are absolutely silent and no movement. Bambi on ice is when you are Viking play: longboats

just getting out of bed but still sleepy. This is the second level of energy. The 3rd stage of energy is where are my keys. This is a example of a mother losing her car keys. The 4th stage of  energy is normal. This is when you are completely normal. The next stage is the bus is leaving in five minutes. This is when you energy speeds up a little bit more. Last but not least is mum and dad are coming. This is when you have done something wrong that your mum and dad will not like. Then we paired ourselvesand practised them with a theme which wasa customer and a cashier at Argos.

After lunch we grouped ourselves so we had 10 in each group. Then we got given a Viking play to perform with our other teammates. Then we performed to the rest of the year.

IT WAS THE BEST DAY EVER!
