Top Dog Award

 I was given this award for participating and helping the staff of the youth club I belong to at  St. James’ church. I help prepare the food every month and whenever we have a barbecue I set out the games and, when we have a film show, I hand out the sweets when set out the games.

 

 On it says ‘TOP BOY (THE ARK) PATRICK KELLY and there’s a bible on it.

Show Racism the Red Card!

On Wednesday 25th February, class 5HC visited St. Mary's Football Stadium, home of Southampton's Saints Football Club, to learn about racism. We met a member of the 'Show Racism the Red Card' organisation who talked us through it and how we can make it STOP!

To our surprise, a famous footballer, Eljero Elia, strolled in and shared his experience of racism as well as signing posters, T-shirts and even our hands with permanent marker!

We learned a lot whilst enjoying our educational and fun day at St. Mary's Stadium.
